"Dear Jack be sure and write to me when you get to your new place and let me know how far it is from the station, then I will come down on the Sunday night. I can get a train to Auckland at six and one back at 9.30. Has Tommy got fired again. Polly is going to live at Lamesley, close to Gateshead, so she is going a long way from home this time. She has got ten pounds for the half year. Don't forget to send me your new address. With best love to all from Lottie."
